The Fair, which is to be held at the International Conference and Exhibition Centre, Office des Changes, in Morocco’s capital of Casablanca, promises to be an exciting showcase of medical innovations, presenting trends and developments in this dynamic industry. Salon de Sante is an initiative of the Kingdom of Morocco’s Ministry of Health, and will be attended by healthcare professionals in all areas of the industry from countries in Northern Africa.

This is crucial, given the growing pressure on healthcare resources, caused by increasing demand. This makes it possible for doctors to extract only the images they need, as extraneous images are filtered by algorithmic engines embedded within the syngo.via system. The remaining images contain only pertinent anatomical data, which means that doctors spend less time manipulating images to obtain the crucial information they need. The outcome is a high quality reading that is task- and disease-oriented, making for an effective and efficient workflow, and saving precious minutes which could make the difference between life and death.

Next, Siemens is expanding on its already comprehensive oncology portfolio with the introduction of Mammomat. This highly effective breast care solution complements offerings which include linear accelerators and components, imaging for radiotherapy, treatments concepts and software applications for planning, treatment and quality assurance.

In terms of imaging, Siemens presents Computed Tomography, which is playing an increasingly significant role in the imaging of cardiovascular diseases, especially in detecting arthrosclerosis in the early stages. This technology holds particular appeal because it is non-invasive. The cardiovascular portfolio further includes SOMATOM® high-end scanners and the CT Cardiac Engine, which fuses diagnostic findings – covering the entire spectrum, from quantitative coronary assessment to left ventricular analysis - into a single report.

Finally, Magentom Avanto (AR) represents a new threshold in MRI scanning, providing reduced noise with outstanding gradient performance. This is one of the most comprehensive application ranges available.
